Day 1 LAX - Shanghai by flight
Depart aboard your luxuriously appointed flight for Chengdu via Shanghai
Day 2 Shanghai Hotel: Sky Fortune Hotel or same (5 star)
Arrive at Shanghai, the largest Metropolis of China. Tour guide of Shanghai Spring Tour will greet you at Shanghai International Airport and take you to the hotel.
Day 3 Shanghai - Kunming by flight B L D Hotel: Kunming Empark Grand Hotel or same (5 star)
In the morning you will visit Nanjing Road – the biggest shopping area in China and the People’s Square, then you will take a morning flight to Kunming, Kunming is known as the "Eternal Spring City" as it has the mildest, best year round weather in all of China. You will first visit Western Hill Scenic Area which is located at the west bank of Dianchi Lake. It is a best place to enjoy the
picturesque view of Kunming from the distance.
Day 4 Kuming – Stone Forest – Jiuxiang - Kunming by bus B L D Hotel：Kunming Empark Grand Hotel or same (5 star)
You will take a bus to the Stone Forest in the morning, marveling at the natural stone "tree." Created by ancient winds and water erosion over millions of years, the Stone Forest is a remarkable region of limestone cliffs and peaks. In the afternoon you will visit Jiuxiang, a beautiful scenic spot with hundreds of small caves. At dinner, you’ll enjoy famous local flavor –Ham Rice Noodle Banquet.
Day 5 Kunming - DaLi by bus B L D Hotel: Flowers Hotel or same (5 star)
Take a bus to Dali. Dali is home of Bai Minority Group and is a city with great natural beauty. Get firsthand experience of local daily life as you visit a Bai Minority Village. Head back into town, you will see the well protected old City Gate and some local style antique buildings.
Day 6 Dali – Lijiang by bus B L D Hotel: Guanfang Hotel or same (5 star)
Take the tour coach to Lijiang todays, the cultural center of the Naxi Minority. Lijiang has beautiful landscapes and has been designated an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Gaze in wonder at the sights and sounds of this ancient city as you walk down the cobblestone streets
preserved for over 700 years.
Day 7 Lijiang B L D Hotel: Guanfang Hotel or same (5 star)
The highlight of the day is Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the mythical mountain worshipped by the Naxi as a deity. You will take the cable car to access higher regions that afford a beautiful view of the famed Thirteen Peaks.
Day 8 Lijiang - Zhongdian (Shangri-La) by bus B L D Hotel: Tian Jie Shen Chuan Shangri-La Hotel or same (5 star)
Embark early morning on the arduous motor coach ride to the famed Shangri-La. At the midway point of the journey you will stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge, descending over 200 steps for the best view. Upon arrival at Shangri-La, you’ll visit Gedan Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Lamasery existing outside of Tibet. You will enjoy a dinner with Tibetan flavor.
Day 9 Zhongdian (Shangri-La) B L DHotel: Tian Jie Shen Chuan Shangri-La Hotel or same (5 star)
Rise early in the morning, take bus to Potala National Park which is the first national park in China. The park has so far maintained a complete virgin forest, eco systems. It’s the 4A – class tourist scenic spot. Visit Suoduo Lake & Bita Lake.
Day 10 Zhongdian – Kunming - Guilin by flight (B/D ) Hotel: Guilin Starwood Sheraton Hotel or the same (5 Star)
Today you will fly to Guilin via Kunming. Board a flight to Guilin. Guilin is an ancient city located on the banks of the Lijiang River that enjoys the reputation of possessing the most beautiful landscapes in all of China. Visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, the Reed Flute Cave. At dinner, you will taste the famous local flavor—Guilin Rice Noodle Feast.
Day 11 Guilin – Longji Rice Terrace Field by bus (B/L/D) Hotel: Guilin Starwood Sheraton Hotel or the same (5 Star)
Today you will first visit the one of the three ancient great irrigation systems in China built in 214BC – Lingqv, located close to Guilin. The place has beautiful scenery and the irrigation system is still in good function. Afterwards you will continue the visit to another great job ancient farmer did – the over 700 rice terraces in Longji, a place is known for the amazing rice terraces that cover every hill in the area. The terraces are covering the hills from 980 feet to 2950 feet or so. The amazing thing is that they are not just a tourist attraction - they are still being used for growing rice by the villagers who live there.
Day 12 Guilin---Yangshuo boat cruise (B/L/D Hotel: Yangshuo Green Lotus Hotel or the same (5 Star)
After breakfast, you will embark on a cruise of the Lijiang River. Meandering through valleys, bamboo groves and mysterious rock formations, you will get firsthand experience of why the ancients said “The landscape of Guilin is unmatched under heaven”, After dinner, you will enjoy the local ethnic minority show. Yangshuo is a small town surrounded by karst peaks and bordered on one side by the Li River with beautiful natural views. This small town becomes popular with foreign backpackers now. Night time you may wander along the West Street where full of bars and restaurants.
Day 13 Yangshuo - Guilin-Shanghai B L D Hotel：Shanghai Sky Fortune Hotel or the same (5 Star)
Today you will take bus back to Guilin to fly to Shanghai, the largest city in China, and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, with over 20 million people. You will visit the bustling Nanjing Road – the largest shopping street in China and the waterfront Bund. You will take a night tour at Water Bund to enjoy the breathtaking night view of Shanghai. Dinner will be Dai Ethnic Minority dinner show..
Day 14: Shanghai World Expo 2010 (B) Shanghai Sky Fortune Hotel or similar
World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China is a great event to explore the full potential of urban life. Centered on innovation and interaction, it will also offer a wonderful opportunity for cross-culture dialogues. Day 15. Shanghai – LAX by flight (B)
In the morning you will visit Nanjing Road – the biggest shopping area in China and the People’s Square, then you will take the Maglev train, the world's fastest train and the first one in operation, to the airport and take the flight back home.
