Day 1 LAX - Shanghai Flight Depart from America to Shanghai today aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey.
Day 2 Shanghai Upon arrival, you will be met by the tour guide of Shanghai Spring Tour and be transferred to our luxury accommodation Hotel: Sky Fortune Hotel or the same class (5*)
Day 3 Shanghai – Zhangjiajie by Spring Airlines Visit Chenghuang Temple which was built in Ming Dynasty, it’s the most prosperous tourist place in Shanghai. At lunch you will enjoy the specialty food of Shanghai in the restaurant. After lunch, you will visit the biggest shopping street in China - Nanjing Road, People’s Square and the Water Bund. The most impressive landscape of Shanghai is the various architecture style buildings. Then you will take the flight to Zhangjiajie – the world natural heritage recognized by UNESCO. Hotel: Jinjiang Int’l Hotel or the same (5*) Day 4 Tianzi Mountain (B/L/D) Tianzi Mountain (Heaven’s Son Mount) lies in the northwest of Wulingyuan and stands at a position of tripartite confrontation with Zhangjiajie National Park, and Suoxi Valley. The mount is dotted with nearly 100 natural platforms for sightseeing, more than 2000 stone peaks and dozens of waterfalls and springs. The sea of clouds, the wavelike stone ranges, the snowcapped in the winter and the sunrise are the most spectacular. Hotel: Jinjiang Int’l Hotel or the same (5*)
Day 5 Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (B/L/D) In 1982 Zhangjiejie was recognized as China's first national forest park (4,810 hectares). In 1992, Wulingyuan Scenic Spot of Zhangjiajie National Park was officially recognized as the World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO. In 2004, Zhangjiajie Geopark was listed as a UNESCO Global Geopark. The most notable geographic features of the park are the pillar-like formations that are seen throughout the park. Much of the erosion which forms these pillars are the result of expanding ice in the winter and the plants which grow on them. These formations are a distinct hallmark of Chinese landscape, and can be found in many ancient Chinese paintings. You will enjoy the picturesque view of Zhangjiajie today. Day 6 Dragon King Cave/Baofeng Lake – Phoenix Town (B/L/D) You will first visit the Dragon King Cave, the core of Zhangjiajie National Park, the largest and one of the oldest cave in China. Then you will continue your visit to Baofeng Lake. You will take a boat cruise to enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake. Late in the afternoon, you will take bus to Phoenix Ancient Town which was the most beautiful town in China. Hotel: Jiangtian Int’l Resort or the same (4*)
Day 7 Phoenix Town – Xijiang (West River) (B/L/D) You may wander along the alleys to see the typical high gabled wooden houses built on stilts along the banks of the Tuo River enjoy the peaceful life of the local people in the morning. Then you will continue your tour to Xijiang – a place where you will see the biggest Miao village. Miao is a linguistically and culturally related group of people recognized by the government of the People's Republic of China as one of the 55 official minority groups. Qianhu Miao Village, the one you are going to visit is the biggest Miao village in China with a population of more than 5,600. The village is a cluster of wooden houses. At dusk, wisps of smoke rose continuously from the village chimneys. The scene is really very beautiful. Day 8 Xijiang – Guiyang (B/L/D) After breakfast, you will leave Xijiang for Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province. You will visit the Qianling Park today when arriving at Guiyang. The name of Qianling Park was derived from the Qianling Mountain that lies in the park, which is the most famous mountain in southern Guizhou. As one of the noted gardens on the Guizhou plateau, it boasts clear waters, green mountains, tranquil forests and old temples. Hotel: Empark Grand Hotel or the same class (5*)
Day 9 Guiyang – Huangguoshu Waterfalls (B/L/D) Today you will visit the Huangguoshu Waterfall – the largest one in Asia. It is 255 ft high and 330 ft wide. The main waterfall is 220 ft high and 273 ft wide. The Water-Curtain Cave is a 440 ft long naturally formed cave located in the back of the waterfall. It allows visitors to not only view, but also hear and touch the waterfall. The Huangguoshu Waterfall is one of few waterfalls that can be viewed from above, below, front, back, left and right in the world. You will surely marvel at this great breathtaking view of nature. Day 10 Guiyang – Shanghai by flight (B/L/D) Guiyang is one of China's Spring Cities like Kunming . The climate is often mild and moist, neither extremely hot nor very cold. Spring, summer and autumn are the best seasons for visiting Guiyang. The life pace of Guiyang people is rather laid back compared to that of other cities. Guiyang people have a habit of going to bed late and getting up late. So it is common to see local people strolling, chatting, and playing the chess in the street. You will find that life here is altogether quite easy going! You will have time to explore this city by visiting several attractive sights before your leaving for Shanghai. Day 11 Shanghai World Expo 2010 (B) World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China is a great event to explore the full potential of urban life. Day 12 Shanghai – LAX by flight (B) In the morning you will take Maglev, the world fastest train, to the airport to fly back to America.
