Depart aboard your luxuriously appointed flight for Chengdu via Shanghai
Day 2 Shanghai
Arrive at Shanghai, the largest Metropolis of China. Tour guide of Shanghai Spring Tour will greet you at Shanghai International Airport and take you to the hotel.

Day 3 Shanghai - Kunming by flight B L D
In the morning you will visit Nanjing Road – the biggest shopping area in China and the People’s Square, then you will take a morning flight to Kunming, Kunming is known as the "Eternal Spring City" as it has the mildest, best year round weather in all of China. You will first visit Western Hill Scenic Area which is located at the west bank of Dianchi Lake. It is a best place to enjoy the picturesque view of Kunming from the distance.

Day 4 Kuming – Stone Forest – Jiuxiang - Kunming by bus B L D
You will take a bus to the Stone Forest in the morning, marveling at the natural stone "tree." Created by ancient winds and water erosion over millions of years, the Stone Forest is a remarkable region of limestone cliffs and peaks. In the afternoon you will visit Jiuxiang, a beautiful scenic spot with hundreds of small caves. At dinner, you’ll enjoy famous local flavor –Ham Rice Noodle Banquet.

Day 5 Kunming - DaLi by bus B L D
Take a bus to Dali. Dali is home of Bai Minority Group and is a city with great natural beauty. Get firsthand experience of local daily life as you visit a Bai Minority Village. Head back into town, you will see the well protected old City Gate and some local style antique buildings.

Day 6 Dali – Lijiang by bus B L D
Take the tour coach to Lijiang todays, the cultural center of the Naxi Minority. Lijiang has beautiful landscapes and has been designated an UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Gaze in wonder at the sights and sounds of this ancient city as you walk down the cobblestone streets preserved for over 700 years.

The highlight of the day is Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the mythical mountain worshipped by the Naxi as a deity. You will take the cable car to access higher regions that afford a beautiful view of the famed Thirteen Peaks.

Day 8 Lijiang - Zhongdian (Shangri-La) by bus B L D
Embark early morning on the arduous motor coach ride to the famed Shangri-La. At the midway point of the journey you will stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge, descending over 200 steps for the best view. Upon arrival at Shangri-La, you’ll visit Gedan Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Lamasery existing outside of Tibet. You will enjoy a dinner with Tibetan flavor.

Rise early in the morning, take bus to Potala National Park which is the first national park in China. The park has so far maintained a complete virgin forest, eco systems. It’s the 4A – class tourist scenic spot. Visit Suoduo Lake & Bita Lake.
