Day 1: LAX – Beijing by flight
Depart from America and aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey.
Day 2: Arrive at Beijing Beijing Pullman Hotel or similar
Upon arrival, you will be transferred by air-conditioned coach to the hotel. After this long voyage, it will be a pleasure to settle into your luxurious accommodations. The rest of the afternoon will be free for you to spend as you wish.
Day 3: Beijing (B-L-D) Beijing Pullman Hotel or similar
This morning, you will visit Temple of Heaven – China's largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings. where the Chinese ancient emperors worshipped to the God of Heaven and prayed for good harvests. In the afternoon, you will visit the Tiananmen Square, which is a famous landmark and is the world's largest public square. You will continue your visit to the
Forbidden City – the royal palace of ancient Chinese emperors. You will have a photo stop at the Olympic venues: Bird Nest and the Water Cube, then visit Pearl Store late in the afternoon.
Day 4: Beijing (B-L-D) Beijing Pullman Hotel or similar
You will visit the Great Wall today. On the way, you will have a short visit at a jade factory, where you will enjoy the beautiful jade art. Then, onto the legendary Great Wall, one of the wonders of the world, which took several dynasties to complete. Plan to bring comfortable walking shoes if you want to scale the Great Wall and its magnificent history. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the royal garden – Summer Palace. Dinner time you will enjoy the delicious Beijing specialty – Beijing Roast Duck diner.
Day 5: Beijing – Xian by morning flight (B-L-D) Xian Shangri-La Goldenflower Hotel or similar
Today you will fly to Xian, the renowned starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Xian used to be the capital of eleven ancient dynasties in Chinese history. It is a city rich in over 5,000 years of culture and history and a must-stay while visiting China. Today you will visit the 600 years old City Wall in downtown. At dinner, you will enjoy the delicious Chinese dumplings banquet .
Day 6: Xian (B-L-D) Xian Shangri-La Goldenflower Hotel or similar
The Terra Cotta Army of the Qin Emperor is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world, and it has drawn thousands of visitors to Xian each year. Today, you will first visit a pottery factory to see the process of how the terra-cotta warriors and horses were made. Then your will visit the Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses to see those amazing terracotta warriors and horses, who have been protecting the Qin Emperor in his afterlife for more than 2000 years. Late in the afternoon, you will get back to the downtown to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda of which was suggested to be constructed to store the Buddhism scriptures by one ancient Chinese monk over 1000 years ago after his long journey back from India.
Day 7 Xian – Chongqing by flight (B/L/D) board on Century Cruise (5 star)
Today you will fly to Chongqing, you will visit the old town of Chongqing – Ciqikou, then the zoo to see panda. You will enjoy a specialty dinner of Chongqing – the spicy Hot Pot, then board on the five star boat for your Yangtze River cruise.
Day 8 Yangtze-Fengdu Snow Jade Cave (B/L/D) Century cruise
07:00am 【Morning Coffee】 at the Coffee Bar; 07:30am Chinese & Western style buffet breakfast at the restaurant; there is an【Introduction of the Three Gorges】, for passengers to know the history and current issues about the Three Gorges. Afternoon, 2:00-5:00pm, land excursion 【Fengdu Snow Jade Cave】, which is praised by <China National Geographic>-“the most beautiful cave in China”. After the return to the ship, join the 【captain’s welcome cocktail party】In the evening, there is a 【party】, shows performed by the crew, and some interesting games, which will provide more entertainment to spice up your cruise.
Day 9 Yangtze-Shennong Stream (B/L/D) Century cruise
About 07:00am, the ship will go through the first gorge 【Qutang Gorge】. 07:20am, there is buffet breakfast offered in the restaurant. About 09:00am, the ship will go through the second gorge 【Wu Gorge】.2:30-6:00pm, short excursion 【Shennong Stream】. Take a moment to view the beauty of the stream. Then return to the ship, on through to the third gorge 【Xiling Gorge】. Dinner will be served. 【captain’s farewell banquet】.About 6:00-10:30pm the ship will go through the 【five-stages ship locks】, which is part of the three gorges dam project.
Day 10 Arrive at Yichang - Three Gorges Dam- Guilin by flight (B/L/D) Guilin Starwood Hotel
07:00-08:00am, buffet breakfast. 08:30-11:00am land excursion 【Three Gorges Dam】. Then you will take the flight from Wuhan to Guilin. Guilin is an ancient city located on the banks of the Lijiang River that enjoys the reputation of possessing the most beautiful landscapes in all of China. Visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, the Reed Flute Cave. At dinner, you will taste the famous local flavor—Guilin Rice Noodle Feast.
Day 11 Guilin---Yangshuo boat cruise Hotel: Yangshuo Green Lotus Hotel or the same (5 Star)
After breakfast, you will embark on a cruise of the Lijiang River. Meandering through valleys, bamboo groves and mysterious rock formations, you will get firsthand experience of why the ancients said “The landscape of Guilin is unmatched under heaven”. After dinner, you will enjoy the local ethnic minority show. Yangshuo is a small town surrounded by karst peaks and bordered on one side by the Li River with beautiful natural views. This small town becomes popular with foreign backpackers now. Night time you may wander along the West Street where full of bars and restaurants.
Day 12 Yangshuo - Guilin-Shanghai Hotel：Shanghai Sky Fortune Hotel or the same (5 Star)
Today you will take bus back to Guilin to fly to Shanghai, the largest city in China, and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, with over 20 million people. You will visit the bustling Nanjing Road – the largest shopping street in China and the waterfront Bund. Dinner will be Dai Ethnic Minority dinner show..
Day 13 Shanghai B Hotel：Shanghai Sky Fortune Hotel or the same (5 Star)
