Beijing – Xian – Guilin – Shanghai 12 Days Tour ( JHF) Day 1: LAX – Beijing by flight Depart from LAX and aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey.
Day 2: Arrive at Beijing Upon arrival, you will be transferred by air-conditioned coach to the hotel. After this long voyage, it will be a pleasure to settle into your luxurious accommodations. Day 3: Beijing (B-L-D) This morning, you will visit Temple of Heaven – China's largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings. where the Chinese ancient emperors worshipped to the God of Heaven and prayed for good harvests. In the afternoon, you will visit the Tiananmen Square, which is a famous landmark and is the world's largest public square. You will continue your visit to the Forbidden City – the royal palace of ancient Chinese emperors. You will have a photo stop at the Olympic venues: Bird Nest and the Water Cube, then visit Pearl Store late in the afternoon. Hotel: Beijing Pullman Hotel or similar
Day 4: Beijing (B-L-D) You will visit the Great Wall today. On the way, you will have a short visit at a jade factory, where you will enjoy the beautiful jade art. Then, onto the legendary Great Wall, one of the wonders of the world, which took several dynasties to complete. Plan to bring comfortable walking shoes if you want to scale the Great Wall and its magnificent history. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the royal garden – Summer Palace. Day 5: Beijing – Xian by morning flight (B-L-D) Today you will fly to Xian, the renowned starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Xian was also the capital belonging to eleven ancient dynasties in Chinese history. It is a city rich in over 5,000 years of culture and history, and a must-stay while visiting China. Today you will visit the 600 years old City Wall. At dinner you will enjoy the delicious Chinese dumplings banquet Hotel: Xian Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel or similar
Day 6: Xian (B-L-D) The Terra Cotta Army of the Qin Emperor is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world, and it has drawn thousands of visitors to Xian each year. Today, you will first visit a pottery factory to see the process of how the terra-cotta warriors and horses were made. Then your will visit the Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses to see those amazing terracotta warriors and horses, who have been protecting the Qin Emperor in his afterlife for more than 2000 years. Late in the afternoon, you will get back to the downtown to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda of which was suggested to be constructed to store the Buddhism scriptures by one ancient Chinese monk over 1000 years ago after his long journey back from India. Day 7 Xi'an---Guilin by flight (B L D) Board a flight to Guilin. Guilin is an ancient city located on the banks of the Lijiang River that enjoys the reputation of possessing the most beautiful landscapes in all of China. Visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, the Reed Flute Cave. At dinner, you will taste the famous local flavor—Guilin Rice Noodle Feast. Hotel: Guilin Starwood Sheraton Hotel or the same (5 Star)
Day 8 Guilin---Yangshuo boat cruise (B/L/D) After breakfast, you will embark on a cruise of the Lijiang River. Meandering through valleys, bamboo groves and mysterious rock formations, you will get firsthand experience of why the ancients said “The landscape of Guilin is unmatched under heaven”, After dinner, you will enjoy the local ethnic minority show. Yangshuo is a small town surrounded by karst peaks and bordered on one side by the Li River with beautiful natural views. This small town becomes popular with foreign backpackers now. Day 9 Yangshuo - Guilin-Shanghai (B/L/D) Today you will take bus back to Guilin to fly to Shanghai, the largest city in China, and one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world, with over 20 million people. You will visit the bustling Nanjing Road – the largest shopping street in China andthe waterfront Bund. Dinner will be Dai Ethnic Minority dinner show.. Hotel:Shanghai Sky Fortune Hotel or the same (5 Star) Day 10: Shanghai World Expo 2010 (B) World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China. This is a great event to explore the full potential of urban life.
