Day 1: LAX– Beijing by flight Depart from LAX and aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey.
Day 2: Arrive at Beijing Beijing Pullman Hotel or similar Upon arrival, you will be met by the tour guide of Spring Tour and be transferred by air-conditioned coach to check in the hotel. After this long voyage, it will be a pleasure to settle into your luxurious accommodations.
Day 3: Beijing (B-L-D) Beijing Pullman Hotel or similar This morning, you will visit Temple of Heaven – China's largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings, where the Chinese ancient emperors worshipped to the God of Heaven and prayed for good harvests. In the afternoon, you will visit the Tiananmen Square, which is a famous landmark and is the world's largest public square. You will continue your visit to the Forbidden City – the royal palace of ancient Chinese emperors. You will have a photo stop at the Olympic venues: Bird Nest and the Water Cube , then visit Pearl Store late in the afternoon. Day 4: Beijing (B-L-D) Beijing Pullman Hotel or similar You will visit the Great Wall today. On the way, you will have a short visit at a jade factory, where you will enjoy the beautiful jade art. Then, onto the legendary Great Wall, one of the wonders of the world, which took several dynasties to complete. Plan to bring comfortable walking shoes if you want to scale the Great Wall and its magnificent history. Late in the afternoon, you will visit the royal garden – Summer Palace. Dinner time you will enjoy the delicious Beijing local specialty food – Beijing Roast Duck diner.
Day 5: Beijing - Xian by morning flight (B-L-D) Xian Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel or similar Today you will fly to Xian, the renowned starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Xian used to be the capital of eleven ancient dynasties in Chinese history. It is a city rich in over 5,000 years of culture and history and a must-stay while visiting China. Today you will visit the 600 years old City Wall in downtown. At dinner, you will enjoy the delicious Chinese dumplings banquet .
Day 6: Xian (B-L-D) Xian Shangri-La Golden Flower Hotel or similar The Terra Cotta Army of the Qin Emperor is regarded as the eighth wonder of the world, and it has drawn thousands of visitors to Xian each year. Today, you will first visit a pottery factory to see the process of how the terra-cotta warriors and horses were made. Then your will visit the Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses to see those amazing terracotta warriors and horses, who have been protecting the Qin Emperor in his afterlife for more than 2000 years. Late in the afternoon, you will get back to the downtown to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda of which was suggested to be constructed to store the Buddhism scriptures by one ancient Chinese monk over 1000 years ago after his long journey back from India.
Day 7: Xian – Hangzhou by flight (B/L/D) Hangzhou Metro Park Hotel or similar (5 star) With its cultural relics now restored and preserved, Hangzhou is known as one of the six famous ancient capitals of China. West Lake (Xihu) is an especially popular destination for its pictures scenery. You will take a boat cruise to enjoy the beautiful view of West Lake. At dinner you will taste the Hangzhou local specialty food.
Day 8: Hangzhou – Suzhou by tour coach (B/L/D) Suzhou Metro Park Hotel or same (5star) In the morning, you will visit the famous Buddhism temple – Lingyin Temple, before leaving Hangzhou, you must be sure to taste the famous Longjing Tea at Meiwu Tea Farm, then drive to Suzhou. Suzhou has been called the "Venice of the Orient", as it is an ancient town interlaced by numerous canals. Your city tour in Suzhou today will include Hanshan Buddhism Temple and a boat ride along the canal to Shantang old street. Tonight you will enjoy the specialty food of Suzhou cuisine in the private garden.
Day 9: Suzhou – Shanghai by tour coach (B/L/D) Shanghai Sky Fortune Hotel or similar Your city tour this morning includes the visit to the Lingering Garden and the Silk Factory. Then you will get to Shanghai. You will explore Shanghai, a modern metropolis and China’s economic and financial capital. You will visit the Cheng Huang Temple, the Waterfront Bund where you can witness the glamorous views of Shanghai along the Huangpu River. Nanjing Road – the largest shopping street in China will also be arranged to visit today. You will enjoy the Tai Style dinner show.
Day 10: Shanghai World Expo 2010 (B) Shanghai Sky Fortune Hotel or similar World Expo 2010 Shanghai, China is a great event to explore the full potential of urban life. Centered on innovation and interaction, it will also offer a wonderful opportunity for cross-culture dialogues. Today you will have a full day to visit this World Expo. Day 11. Shanghai –LAX by flight (B) In the morning you will take the Maglev train, the world's fastest train and the first one in operation, to the airport and take the flight back home.
